PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION
When you come for your photo session you can come relaxed because we are friendly people to work with and really enjoy what we do. If you know exactly what you want we will work with you to get it and if you have no idea what you want we will help you find what will work for you. Even if you're not sure what clothes will match or look good just bring a bunch with you and we will help you choose.
We do not do consultations. We do not have you try to match your outfits to our backgrounds. We have a large selection of backgrounds and we will match them to your outfits.
Our studio is located on 11.5 acres and we have many outside locations in which to photograph. But if you want some cityscape, lake shots, railroad tracks or anything else you can think of including coming to your own property please let us know and we will do it!
Lynnie does all the in studio photography. She also does most of the outside photographing at the studio. Dennis will assist her at times. Both Lynnie and Dennis photograph on location.
Here are some additional tips to help you:
When wearing tight clothes, or thin clothing just remember to wear the same color undergarment or just another shirt underneath. With the light shinning on you in the studio the lines in your undergarments will be seen.
Feel free to be creative with your outfits and/or accessories. Don't be afraid to "let it out". It's okay if you don't like how something turned out. We take a lot of photographs and you don't have to buy it if you don't like how something turned out. We have found that when people "let it out" in front of the camera it usually creates their favorite photos.
If laying out in the sun try to stay away from tan lines. Don't lay out the day before your session. You will look red.
Remember you can do your hair up and down during your photo session.
If you want both curly hair and straight hair just let us know and we will split your session time.
If you want different season shots just let us know and we will split your session time.
Things to bring with you to your session:
This is just a short list to start you thinking but feel free to bring whatever you want. Also remember if you have something that isn't possible to bring with you but you want to be photographed with, such as a tractor, just let us know and we can go and photograph you with it at your property or wherever.
We do have a swimming pool with a diving board onsite so keep that in mind if you are a swimmer, life guard or would just want a fun, summery outfit by the pool.
GUYS: When wearing dress pants don't forget to wear matching socks and bring shoes.
Eye Glasses - Glasses create glare so here are some suggestions if you where eye glasses:

- Lip gloss (this really adds to your photos)
- Curling Iron or Straightener
- Bobbie pins
- Accessories - shoes, sunglasses, hats, scarves, jewelry, belts, hair or head bands

- Go to your eye doctor and ask for a pair of frames only so you can use them for your photographs.
