L.A. Portrait Studio, LLC. is Lynnie & Dennis Loucks. Lynnie is the Master and Dennis is the... well... I handle most of the business side of things. To be honest with you, there are no words that can really explain Lynnie. She is one-of-a-kind. She is so easy to get along with that within minutes of meeting her you will be so relaxed and feel like you've been friends for a long time! She is truly a great professional photographer but she doesn't act professional... you'll see what I mean!

We have been married for 11 years and have seven children altogether and also two grandsons! I (Dennis) had three kids before we met and we have four together. The older three are now out living on their own and our kids at home are ages 11, 7, 5 and 3. We started L.A. Portrait Studio, LLC. in 2003 in Willmar, Minnesota and our business boomed right off the bat! We sincerely thank our early customers for giving us a chance and then spreading the word about L.A.! We have been busy ever since.

At the end of 2008 we made a decision to move to the Brainerd Lakes Area. The reason we moved was that Grandma had to move out of her home for medical reasons and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy her house. We now have a beautiful spot on the Crow Wing River just outside of Pillager. There were only two things that made the decision to leave Willmar difficult. First of all, being farther away from friends we had made and secondly, business had been so good for us there! We now are looking forward to making more friends and the opportunities of starting business in a new area.
