Our studio is located on the southwest edge of Willmar on an ever expanding beautiful 11.5 acres. It is an ideal location as we have many opportunities to photograph on site but are not far from downtown for cityscape shots or any lake for water shots or whatever else you may want. We live in a beautiful 4,400 square foot home and use the complete lower level for our indoor studio. We also have a 5,000 square foot building on site in which we are in the process of dividing half of it into additional studio space as we continue to grow and expand.

We have been married for ten years and have seven children altogether. (Dennis had three kids before we met and we have had four together.) The older three are now out living on their own. Our children at home are ages 1, 3, 5 and 9 so there is never a dull moment at our house! We enjoy working from our home so much that we gave birth to our last three children at home just so Lynnie wouldn't miss a photo session! Well, maybe that wasn't all the reason!:

We started L.A. Portrait Studio, LLC. in 2003 and our business boomed right off the bat! We sincerely thank our early customers for giving us a chance and then spreading the word about L.A.! We have been busy ever since.
